As always, my test knitters helped me improve the knitting experience, and improve the pattern.
A few changes we made this time around:
-Adding shaded rows to the bigger charts to indicate when the smaller charts are cabling
-Adding an extra body repeat to sizes 7-10
-Clarified which gauge is most important for which sizes. The stockinette gauge really matters!
-Added some more details to the construction overview, like chart placement
-Separated some instructions for better clarity
The most common issue we encountered was the stockinette gauge being off and resulting in a much larger pullover than intended. I recommend swatching carefully, and checking your gauge as you knit.
Without further ado, here are some of the gorgeous Fouetté Pullovers test knitters made.

Knit in HiKoo Kenzie (50% Merino, 25% Nylon, 10% Angora, 10% Alpaca, 5% Silk Noils) for the body and Big Bad Wool (50% Merino, 50% Alpaca) for the sleeves.
“This pattern is addictive! The instructions are very clear and easy to follow with a mix of written directions, charts, and illustrations — perfect for an intermediate knitter who is looking to expand their skills. I’ve been wearing mine constantly, and everywhere I go I get glowing compliments. This is definitely a new staple in my late fall to early spring wardrobe.”
Isabelle (@Goknitandrun)
Size 1 with waist shaping.
Isabelle shortened the sleeves by 1 repeat.
Knit in Drops Sky (74% Alpaca, 18% Polyamide, 8% Wool).
“It was my holiday project for Christmas this year! I love the result and the process! It was a challenge with all the cables and texture but it is pretty easy to follow all the explications and illustrations. Even though English is not my first language, I can easily follow everything. I recommend this pattern for at least intermediate knitters; you need to be able to follow charts, knit in the round and back and forth.”

“I really enjoyed knitting this pattern. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Of course it did take a bit of concentration. It's not the kind of pattern you can knit mindlessly while watching TV. But there was so much going on in each row that it never got monotonous. And the result is a beautiful and perfectly fitting pullover. I can already see this will be a staple piece for the coming spring season!”
Anja (@Anjaroding)
