Children’s Fouetté Cardigan Sizing

I recommend choosing a size based on the child’s chest circumference. 

Finished garment circumference: 25”, 25.75”, 27” (29”, 31.75”, 33”) {34.25”, 36.25”} / 62.5 cm, 64 cm, 67.5 cm (72.5 cm, 79 cm, 82.5 cm) {86 cm, 91 cm}

Meant to be worn with 4.25” / 10.5 cm of positive ease at the chest.

Length can be easily adjusted in the body and sleeves by adding or removing repeats of the cable chart. Samples have 1 less body repeat than called for in the pattern. 

Pink sample is size 6, worn by a 4 year old in the group photos, and a 5 year old in solo photos. Teal sample is size 8, worn by a 6 year old with 5” / 12.5 cm of positive ease.
