As always, I’m so incredibly grateful for my test knitters who helped me test and perfect the pattern. In particular, refining the sizing guidance to really get everyone the best possible fit. This is a construction that needs more negative ease in stockinette than in a textured pattern.

”Work out the heel diagonal circumference as described on page 10. I think as this will help when it comes to the heel. It’s not a one size fits all pattern. It’s a pattern to make the perfect fitting sock. The maths is explained and it’s very simple. Such a simple knit with a great fit.”

“Not liking all the classic heel flap & gusset? But also not into the tight fit around the heel that you get with a short row heel? Then these are perfect for you! A clean looking heel and also cozy, comfy, and super easy to knit.”

“I would say that this is a very easy to follow pattern that will give you a remarkable fit. If you hate picking up stitches for a traditional heel flap and gusset, this really is the pattern for you. Not only is it quick, easy, and no-fuss, but the final look is sophisticated and well fitting as well.”

“If you have fit issues then this style of heel and this pattern are definitely worth trying as all the modifications you could possibly need are well described. There is a great size range so everyone in the family is covered. It’s a simple design which is great for new sock knitters and those who want a design that will work with jazzy yarn as the heel wouldn’t break up the pattern in the yarn.”

“It was my first time ever making a sock and I couldn’t have chosen a better pattern! I was afraid of getting overwhelmed or not being able to finish but hte pattern is super clear and it’s so nice to knit up. It’s really fast, too. And the fit is amazing. I’m looking forward to buy more sock yarn to make a few more :)”

“I would highly recommend this pattern, especially for people who need a roomier heel. I would say this is beginner/ intermediate. It has a few techniques, but everything is clearly explained step by step with tutorial videos to help anyone unfamiliar with the techniques along, and lots of options to alter the fit of each part of the sock if you need something other than the cookie cutter sizes.”
