These sweet socks feature a faux cable and eyelet rib design, making them nice and stretchy (for great fit!). The patterning is a 4 row repeat, so easily memorized, and great for newer lace knitters.
Construction:
Worked cuff down with a heel flap and gusset, and a standard toe.
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner

Details
Sizing
5 sizes: 32, 44, (54, 66, 76) stitches
The socks are meant to be 10% smaller in circumference than your actual foot. Measure around the widest part of your foot, and multiply by .9 for the ideal sock circumference.
Choose the size closest to your ideal sock circumference. If between sizes, size up.
Please see the size chart and schematic in the photos for more details.
This pattern is written to work with a variety of gauges, so that you can use anything from light fingering to DK weight yarn. Start by choosing your yarn and needle combination, then count your stitches per 1” / 2.5 cm. Find your stitches per 1” / 2.5 cm in the grey column, follow that row across to see the sock circumference of each size at your gauge.
Choose the size closest to your ideal sock circumference.
Ideally total sock length is also 10% shorter than your actual foot length. Convert the rounds listed in the schematic into lengths using your round gauge, then subtract those from your ideal sock length to calculate how long to knit the foot of the sock.
Gauge
5-9 stitches in 1” / 2.5 cm, after blocking.
Pattern can be worked at multiple gauges.
Needles & Notions
US 0 / 2 mm - US 5 / 3.75 mm small circular needles, or preferred needle size for socks with the yarn you are using.
Fingering weight sample was knit with US 1 / 2.25 mm needles. DK weight sample was knit with US 3 / 3.25 mm needles.
Pattern is written for small circulars, but can be worked using magic loop or DPNs. I recommend using magic loop for the toes.
3 stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, a tape measure or sock ruler.
Yardage
The socks can be knit in light fingering to DK weight yarn.
HiKoo CoBaSi 2 skeins (220 yards / 201 meters per 50 g), 55% Cotton, 21% Elastic Nylon, 16% Bamboo, 8% Silk.
OR 400 yards / 366 meters of fingering to DK weight sock yarn.
Yardage needed will vary based on yarn chosen and size knit, as well as how long the leg and foot are knit.
